We want to inform FMEOS-Linux-1 hosting server users about an upcoming upgrade to our MySQL database. The current version of MySQL in the server has reached End of Life (EOL). To ensure the security and stability of our database server, we are upgrading to the latest version.
Upgrade Details:
Current MySQL Version: MariaDB 10.3.39
Upgrade to: MariaDB 10.6
Upgrade Date: Saturday 24th February 2024
While we do not expect any impact on your operations, we strongly recommend to perform a backup of your databases. Our technical team will seamlessly execute the upgrade. However, we recommend you perform the backup as a precautionary step.
You can download a backup of your databases from cPanel > Backup > Download a MySQL Database Backup. You can also backup a Database in cPanel with phpMyAdmin.
